BackSounds runs in the background on your computer and generates realistic and authentic, ambient sounds of nature.

These soundscapes can be used to provide a non distracting back-drop for work and study, meditation and relaxation.

Alternatively, Backsounds can be used to help you and your baby sleep by generating "white noise" and other masking sounds to help alleviate the affects of Tinnitus and Colic.

 The easy to use interface allows you to configure and adapt the provided soundscapes and to create new soundscapes from your existing recordings. Each recording is packaged into a sound object and assigned a probability of activiation. These sound objects are then scheduled and layered spatially within the soundscape to create an authentic ever changing sound environment.

 

You have full control over the soundscape. Don't like that waterfall? Get rid of it! Want some light rain with your jungle sounds? Add it in and turn it up!
With Backsounds there is no need to buy another relaxation CD ever again... You can even record your own!

All of our soundscapes are assembled from high quality recordings, and are designed so that you don't hear these sounds repeating!


Backsounds is fully integrated with our soundscape server, which means you can automatically connect to our online catalogue and download addtional and updated soundscapes as they become available.
